    De Chemex, gepatenteerd in 1941 door de Duitse chemicus Dr. Peter Schlumbohm, combineerde laboratoriumglaswerk met een elegant design. I don't drink coffee but use the item to whisk eggs for an omelets and it has the torque to mix them without effort. In Fact need to only use half power else it will splatter out of my mixing vessel.
