We grow mainly Verdejo and Tempranillo, the national indigenous varieties, although they express many differences depending on the terroir where they are grown, reflecting the essence of the soils where they are cultivated. In our vineyards, 60 years old vines coexist with over 100 years old vines. Our small-size clusters and berries, that are less tight than normal, ripen fully allowing us to produce wines of the highest quality and personality.

Nevertheless, our star autochthonous grape variety is Airén, that we use to make EL CHAMPANISTA Brut (18 months by traditional method). It is a plot of 0,68 hectares, planted in 1917, at 676 m.a.s.l, in sandy-loam soil, unirrigated goblet-trained and hand-harvested at night.
